A gang of rustlers preys on the cattle of the Star M Ranch and The Riding Avenger saddles up once again! Former marshal Buck Conners (Hoot Gibson) is called into duty to pose as a recently deceased outlaw. He infiltrates Mort Ringer's notorious gang in an attempt to rescue the kidnapped daughter of the ranch owner and stop the rustling. In a daring break, the two narrowly escape to a hacienda with the help of Ringer's jealous girlfriend Chita (Ruth Mix). The gang tracks them down and a wild shootout ensues.
Cowboy idol Hoot Gibson was the #1 Western star of his day, rivaled only by the legendary Tom Mix (whose daughter Ruth co-stars here).
