A trans-Caribbean airship is the target of the infamous criminal Professor Carter. The evil mastermind plans to rob the cruiser and destroy it, killing the passengers and crew. A storm delays the ship's departure and the unlikely group is stranded in Puerta Nueve awaiting departure. The tropical moonlight arouses a budding romance between a Broadway showgirl and the airliner's pursuer, but the two are split apart by dishonesty and betrayal. Once aboard the ill-fated plane, the two are reunited in an effort to save their lives from the brutal outlaws at the aircraft's helm. Aided by a hard-bitten reporter, they embark on a daring plan to regain control of the plane and bring the culprits to justice.
